Who we are

Northfield Studio is a two-person design and build studio working out of a converted print shop. We started in 2019 after years at larger agencies, where we kept noticing that small clients got the thinnest slice of attention and the longest timelines.

Today we take on around a dozen projects a year. That number is deliberate. It means each client gets real design time, honest estimates and a direct line to the people doing the work.

Build less, finish more.

How we work

We write before we draw, and we draw before we build. Content comes first because a site is only as good as what it says, and layouts designed around placeholder text tend to fall apart on contact with real words.

• Design: research, copy structure, layouts and a lightweight design system
• Build: performance-first code with accessibility checked at every stage
• Maintain: updates, backups and small improvements on a predictable monthly plan

What we believe
